My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I found this to be a wonderful book: so well researched and informative and very well written. She writes about the Anthropocene Era which is the era of humans and human actions and their affects  on the planet. I found myself deeply engaged with her revelations at different points in the book. The author has a knack for story telling which is an integral part of the book while at the same time sharing her discovery of the facts that relate to this most important story and the sharing of it.  She visits different parts of the world and meets with scientists who are researching the extinction of various species of plant and animal. The timing of this book is right as she ultimately puts the responsibilty on humans to address our environmental crisis, where it needs to be. The question is “is it too late to stop the sixth extinction”?
